New Passive House Office Certification Achieved in Italy

As 2024 draws to a close, we're proud to announce the successful Passive House certification of Bertani Giorgio Costruzioni Edili's office in Pedemonte, a charming town nestled between Verona and Lake Garda in northern Italy. The company has been awarded their certification plaque, marking a significant achievement in sustainable construction.

The Bertani family brings three decades of construction expertise to the industry, maintaining a dynamic and innovative approach to their work. Their commitment to technological advancement led them to specialize in passive house construction, with both the owner, Mr. Giorgio Bertani, and his son, Engineer Davide Bertani, along with many company employees, earning certifications from the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt, Germany.

The building's exceptional performance was evident during the award ceremony - despite freezing temperatures and the heating system being off for three days prior, indoor comfort remained optimal without any need for additional heating. This practical demonstration, along with the owner's confirmation of minimal energy consumption throughout all seasons, showcases the remarkable efficiency of Passive House design.
