The Condensation Tool is an Excel-based (.xlsx) tool developed by the Passive House Institute

within the EU-funded SINFONIA project (Grant Agreement No. 609019 — EU 7th Framework Programme).

Based on ISO 13788:2012, the tool provides simplified calculation methods for:

• Hygrothermal performance of building components and building elements

• Internal surface temperature to avoid critical surface humidity

• Temperature and vapour pressure inside components to estimate interstitial condensation
